We are simply obsessed with this incredible vintage Claude Montana black leather jacket! It's a bonus that it has the rare Claude Montana Idéal Cuir Made in Paris, France label!  This jacket was featured on the runway at the Claude Montana Fall Winter 1985 show and it is just as stunning today!

Claude Montana was one of the designers who defined the look of the late 1970's and 1980's, with his angular, dramatic designs. He was especially adept at designing with leather. This jacket is a great example of his talent! This soft leather jacket has fabulous animal print pony hair lined lapels and we love the oversized fit and drop shoulders. This luxe jacket would be easy to wear throughout the fall and winter. It is a perfect statement piece to add to any  outfit and it mixes seamlessly with a modern wardrobe.

The jacket hardware includes black metal snap buttons and there are two functional pockets at the sides of the jacket. When this piece is zipped all the way, the neckline is high with a ribbed knit collar and the sleeves are wide and boxy. There are snaps on the bottom of the back hem, so that the jacket is tighter around the hips and slightly puffed.
